If you get accepted ED but you get put into GSP instead of CAS or whatever, do you still have to say yes or no immediately, or can you defer the GSP decision until spring?
I know that the ED is not binding if you are put in GSP, but I don't know when you have to tell the school by.
Hoping, of course, to be admitted NOT to GSP, but just wondering in case it happens.

No, NYU does not defer anyone from E.D. to R.D. If you're referred to GSP, you have to give them a yes or no pretty much right away.

Not the answer I wanted to hear, but thank you for clarifying it. I'll just hope to get in as a regular student, or else apply to other schools. Not that GSP isn't good, but I want more choices in classes than GSP offers.
