I had a nice essay (I thought anyhow) -- Above average. And my rec teachers seemed to really like me, so I'm assuming those were good too. Won't call anything spectacular though. My counselors seemed to be impressed with me doing well in 3 AP testings in classes that I did by myself, so I'm guessing that's a plus too.

Based upon what you wrote here you should be accepted to both the Huntsman program and/or to Wharton.

(Great grades, tough courseload, excellent test scores and lots of academic awards with leadership and volunteer efforts demonstrated).

Best of success.

Thank you. <3 <3

Because my self esteem sinks day by day as trepidation sets in. Haha. College apps currently are the bane of my existance.

And of course: any other opinions?

You have a good chance at Wharton/Huntsman but you’re about the typical applicant and as such have a decent chance of acceptance or rejection.

Your scores are good, but your EC’s lack any substantial leadership ability which is what specific schools like Wharton value over scores. If an adcom feels that your lack of strong EC’s outbalances your scores, then you will be rejected. But you could also be accepted too. Better chance than most at them I’d say.

Remember that you’ll be facing off against people who are presidents of International organizations, people who have led tens of thousands of kids in various events, presidents of 10 clubs, Intel Winners, and basically gods.

Hey, I was reading this and everything started sounding really familiar. Do you go to HTHS? Good luck!

You have a much better chance than most applicants. Your test scores are fantastic, and grades are very competitive. It’s very good you took Calc BC.. Wharton really likes that. Also, you EC’s are quite above average, especially the MUN one. I can’t tell you your exact chances.. Admissions in Wharton are extremely competitive, and there’s no way to tell what colleges are searching for this year.

However, I’d say you have a good chance, and you’re certainly going to have a better chance than most applicants.

Yeah I’m a Techie. W00t w00t mcvsd!

And thank you all for responding. =]
