<p>According to the Saint Olaf website, ED I notifications will be sent on or before December 15. I'm so excited! I've had the 15th circled on my calender for a over a month and a half now, and now that it's a day away.. I can't focus!</p>
<p>I don't know if anyone else on CC applied ED I to SOC, but feel free to discuss/post decisions whe you receive them. :)</p>
<p>I received my acceptance letter in the mail this afternoon!!! I am so excited to be an ole! </p>
<p>I live in the Chicago area, so the letter may arrive later for those outside of the midwest. Also, it comes in a golden envelope half the size of the “big envelope”.</p>

<p>YES! They’ve been mailed out! <em>happy dance</em> Congrats Rampaige! I’m a hopeful to be a freshman at St. Olaf next year too! From what I know about mail, time, and driving from Minnesota through Chicago to New York, I’m guessing that my response will come in the mail tomorrow, or maybe on wednesday if the mailman isn’t speeding across the country (then again, it is christmas card season… sooo…) but if it reached Chicago on a Monday, then they probably sent them out on a Friday or a Saturday, and I just got a christmas card from Minneapolis that was sent on Thursday, so I think the response will reach the east coast (except for southeast, you guys may need to wait one more day) by tomorrow.
Thanks SO MUCH Rampaige for that update! Now we know that the letters have been sent out and we can guestimate how fast mail travels during christmas card season
