i applied ED I... if these next 15 days go by slowly i may die

i know that wash u sends out decisions on december 15th, but they also post them online. does anyone know how much earlier they put up decisions online?

possibly a day or two but no promises

where else is everyone applying?

This is to HVSahin. Your scores and your resumer are crazy-awesome. Do you have time inbetween all those EC's? Good luck. I think the next 2 weeks are going to be the longest 2 weeks of our lives. ED 1

Fenerube: I come home at 11:00 most nights. My girlfriend (of three years) has dumped me twice since this last summer because she got mad at me for not being available (we always got back together the next day). I still make time to take her out to dinner at least once a week, and I get nifty trinkets for her (she collects a lot of stuff) whenever I see something she'll like (We have guys from China, Pakistan, Iran, Romania, and Turkey working in our office so people bring in cool stuff all the time).

For Christmas I got her a signed copy of a book by one of her absolute favorite musicians; I had to make plans to get it three months in advance and trust a random stranger in New York with $40 of my money but it all worked out. You can see why I believe in karma. It's been a real challenge to keep the relationship going, but we make it work. It's the small things that really add up; like just last week I ordered a box of cookie dough from her little sister who's a girl scout, and my girlfriend actually baked it into three dozen cookies for me and surprised me today with a huuuuge platter of cookies.

Also, my math grades are not so good this semester (C+ in Calc BC for my first marking period grades! I hope it doesn't keep me out) so I've been considering abdicating my position as secretary of Mu Alpha Theta becuase I can't hold it knowing in good faith that there are people who deserve it more than I do, so maybe I'll get some extra time in my weeks. Plus, that way someone else can get it in their college apps and it would make me feel really crappy if I took that away from someone because small things like that can really make a difference.

I'm posting this at 12:17 AM because I just got home at 11:30. I have a math test at 9:00 tomorrow. Have to be up by 7. Ugh. Maybe that explains my grades. Anyway, thank you for the complement. I hope all of us CC'ers get in!

Also: Check Dec. 14 online for your decision. A little fairy told me that they have a tendency to post some decisions early. I also heard from a kid at my school that his sister got her decision on Dec 11 last year! Maybe he was just pulling my leg. =)
