ED I Interview call yet??

My d has applied to Vassar ED I and she requested an interview.

She has not been contacted yet even though her application has been in since the beginning of November.

Anyone have their interview yet?

I had my application in since before the first of November and haven't gotten a call. However, I just emailed them and they said my name was forwarded to the interviewer in my area. So hopefully I'll be getting a call soon! If you're worried about it, I can't imagine it would hurt to email admissions.

I had an interview about two weeks ago...he told me that they need to have their forms in before December 1st, so hopefully you'll be hearing soon!

I just recently got an email about my interview--hopefully they forwarded your request to a local alumni. Again, a simple email to admissions couldn't hurt, and at least you've tried.

thanks. i'll make sure the email inquiry is done asap.

good luck to all the ED applicants out there.

guys calm down. I called the admissions office and they said that:

1) the calls are made till the end of the month, so you may not hear from them until nov.30

2) not everyone who applied for an interview gets one, because sometimes there arent enough alums in the area

cool...tensions relieved...

last year when i applied ed 1, i didn't get an interview until the monday before the decisions were sent out. i got a call at 5, my interview was at 8 that night on the phone, and i got in. not a big deal if you don't get an interview.

when i applied last year ED2...i got my interview pretty early before the holidays... my interviewer was pretty cool...even though he got there late...it was at a nice little restaurant on the Upper Westside in Manhattan...the whole interview lasted about two hours...well i dont know if its cause i am just a "BOSS" i kinda took charge of the interview he really didn
t know wat to ask so i started asking...he was just chill...told me stories about his Vassar days pretty trivial stuff....i mean i think the interview really counts a lot and its heavily weighted in the process...well maybe not at Vassar but my mentor she does them for Harvard and she says that if she doesn
t want them to get in...all she has to do in the forms they have to send in is REJECT! so i think since i really don
t try to impress people by yielding to them, that i kind of messed up...like for example he was telling me a story about his roommate that he hated him because he was a jock who smoked a lot...he asked me how i would react to such a roommate...i told him that i have no problems with jocks or smokers and there is really nothing to react to...as long as the roomie ain
t touching my stuff without my permission he can be a schitzophrenic sociopath...lol i didn
t tell him all of that but the interview seemed more of a chill than an interview and i don
t know how it ended as in an impression because i insisted picking up the tab and he insisted so i got the tip i tipped heavy he said...but i just dont like being taken care of...lol let me stop this reply is turning into something else...but yea...all i have to say is that don
t worry toooo much about the interview just worry about how to stand out from the other thousands that are applying AND then the interview because contrary to wat they have you believe the interview does count...sooooooo yea.....dress to impress....relax, relate and release! BE YOURSELF! it
s just an interview! i did in fact get REJECTED but ummm...."...if at first you don`t succeed lift yourself up and try again..." sooooooo i am applying as a TRANSFER

I haven't heard about an interview yet either, and I sent in my EDI application in early October!

=/ I hope they didn't run out of alums in my area! Ha!

my daughter was just contacted by an alum to set an interview within the next few days. The alum stated that the college wanted the paperwork in by the 1st of December.

Thanks to everyone and good luck.
