Ed I

Does anyone know if Vanderbilt informs applicants of their decision online?

They do not.

Is there any other way besides waiting in the mail to get a decision, cus in cali it will prolly take even a few more days after december 15th to get my letter, and I will have an ulcer by then.

After about 5-6 days you can call and get your decision if you haven't received it by then. If I remember correctly, the year my daughter was accepted ED the decisions were mailed on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning and those who hadn't received letters by Monday were given decisions by phone. I do remember quite well that ulcer like feeling dirthog mentions, so good luck to all as you await your decisions!

i'm slightly confused, do they mail out the decisions on december 15th, or do we receive them on december 15th?

nearly all deadlines listed on college sites are postmark deadlines (both for receiving and sending stuff), so in theory you could receive it before then but expect to get the letter a few days after the 15th

From the Vanderbilt Admissions Blog, about two weeks ago:

"Lastly, I want to tell all Vanderbilt ED applicants that your decision will be mailed on December 14 in a small envelope. All decisions are mailed in a regular sized envelope (no big admit packets in December), so do not be scared of the small envelope!"
