@rosette I have heard of a lot of people who have managed to get into Vassar with 1800s on the SATs. Personally, my score was around your score (I hate the SAT. I took it to get it over with, haha ended up with a 1920), however, I was told that the rest of my application including my ECs and academic record out shined my SAT scores. So if you made the best of the essay sections and crafted your application with high interest, you could have a good chance, especially with a 4.0 GPA. Remember, the scores that they show on the college-board website or other places are the AVERAGE scores. In other words, some people who got accepted may of had a really high score and some have a score much lower.

@ohhayyyy My SAT II were not very good either. I woke up that Saturday tired and mad at myself for not studying for the test. My Math II was absolutely horrible (550) and my Biology was dreadful (580, a shame coming from an AP Bio student, I just skimmed through the test, falling asleep hehe) My US History was better than expected compared to my other scores (680). Goshh I’m so glad I’m done with the SAT.

Ah! Thanks! From what people have told me, my recs and my essays are awesome. Hopefully it’s enough. And if they don’t accept me after I basically confessed my love for them on paper, then it’s not the place for me. Haha. Thanks again! Hope to see you all in the fall!!!

I applied RD and my worries are that my GPA is not high enough. – 3.65 uw, 4.35 w. My SAT was a 700 cr 720 m and 660 w, superscore. Decent ECs. Hopefully being a guy will help me.
