Hey is anyone here applying ED II? I’m still writing my supplement essays but I’m soooo excited/nervous. Honestly regret not applying ED I cause Scripps is just too amazing. Thankfully no one at my school knows about it so it lessens the competition! Good luck to everyone and hope to see you on campus next year! Also what other schools are you guys applying to/ what region are you from?
I’m from New Jersey and I’m applying EDII. I regret not doing an interview but hopefully the rest of my application will make up for it. Good luck!
I’m from New Jersey too!! Good luck
I just applied yesterday! So excited! Scripps has been my top choice for literally years! I’m from Maryland, and applying to Occidental and Pitzer as well. Good luck!
@helenanca I applied to Pitzer ED (rejected) and I’m also applying to Occidental RD! Plus I believe I saw you in the Lewis & Clark forum as well. It looks like we have pretty similar college lists. Good luck!
@AnneKatherine how funny would it be if we both went to the same school in the end! Best of luck with Oxy and now with Scripps. This is a tough game to play. Sorry to hear about Pitzer!
Good luck! May I ask have you interviewed or visited campus?
@larrywalters123 I did both. However, I don’t think the interview went well. I’m a homeschooled student and the woman told me that they can’t trust anything on my transcript. Let’s hope that was just her opinion and everyone else does.
Have any of you guys finished your CSS profile yet? I still have to do that tonight.
@polarknut I just submitted mine today, it’s a lot of work and information!
Ah, sounds good. Better get started then!
Hi guys, I was admitted ED1, and I never did an interview, and look at me now! It’s ok, and I do wish you all the best!
@basedchem I totally remember us chatting about the AP Chem exam earlier in May and saw you in the ED1 thread, congrats!
@basedchem Congrats! Do you mind posting some stats? I know it is not a true marker of whether or no I’d be offered admission like you but I’m just so curious and can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Important Conversation: I thought this one was the worst essay I’ve ever submitted to a school… (5/10)

Reflection:
Strengths: Test scores, awards kinda, passion for my major, recs.
Weaknesses: GPA, Class rank, reading scores, Math 2 score was pretty underwhelming, and the 4 I got in Lang (WHAT ARE THOOOOSEEEE) granted, I had personal problems in sophomore year which were explained in my app.
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Good god, I don’t know. I guess someone was looking out for me in the application room. Thank god for second chances.

IS ANYONE ELSE COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS ?
Um. Me!!! Im freaking out already which is totally unhealthy but it’s so close! Any one have an idea of the date yet?
I’m guessing February 15 !!
I start freaking out every time I think of it !
Ooh, my guess was Feb 12 since the notification date last year landed on a Friday. I’m also rather nervous. Does anyone know when the midyear report is due for Scripps? Our first semester barely ended.
