<p>My D received her acceptance letter today. There was a personal note from the Dean of Admission on it. Very sweet! She's excited and can't wait! </p>

<p>My D submitted her app by Jan. 3rd I think. I should say that the track coach really wanted her so maybe he made it move along quicker.</p>

<p>No, I've only been accepted to Oberlin! I applied to six LACs. I haven't heard anything from Colgate.</p>

<p>780 Verbal 750 Math 730 Writing [2260 cumulative, could've been higher, but my writing didn't improve between 1st and 2nd sittings]</p>
<p>690 US Hist, 730 Math Lvl 1</p>
<p>3 4's and that's it---in French Lang, Govt. + Politics, AP Euro [our school only lets us take three or four aps max per year]</p>
<p>Decent gpa, top 15% of class GPA wise</p>
<p>National Merit Commended, AP Scholar [but w/o honors or anything]</p>
<p>fusiondog if Colgate was your safety where else did u get in? Although your stats are very good you sure were risking alot with Colgate as safety. The top five LACs and Ivy schools look for higher stats than u show. I hope you go to the school that is best for you and have a great four years.</p>
