<p>Did you submit your SATs? They are a little low for Bowdoin - but it looks like you wouldn't need the SATs as your rank and ECs are terrific. What does it mean to be a Bowdoin Invitational applicant?</p>

<p>um yeah i didn't submit the sats for bowdoin, they are really low.. The bowdoin invitational is recruitment program in which Bowdoin invites ~130 minority students from around the country to see and stay on the campus for 4 days. They paid for everything from airfare to food. It was an amazing experiance which prompted me to apply early.</p>

<p>Indian is not a URM by the way, it is an ORM (overrepresented minority), so that wont help you</p>

<p>If Bowdoin invited you and paid for your stay, they want you (provided you're qualified.) I'd say you're in!<br>
You also sound very interesting, btw, and would add something to the campus, I think. They SHOULD take you, jmo! :D</p>

<p>I wish that were the case. Its really competitive, 24% acceptance rate and like everyone there is a valedictorian or a saluditorian&lt;/p>
