Hello, this is a male, intl student (from Nepal) applying to Kenyon. I wanted to find out how many people are applying to Kenyon College as ED 2 candidates.

By the way, the Kenyon postings seem to be too dull, lets show our enthusiasm and light fire for the college we want to be in. Lets be active in the post.

hi lainey. i just red an email tht said i m into Kenyon!! I am dying of happiness. u accepted too? real excited now so cant really write. but my fin aid dec hasnot been made yet.

Congratulations!! Yup, I also got accepted and was also dying of happiness. My financial aid decision was 'tentative' but very generous I thought.

lainey, Congratulations to you too. Where are you from?
I just found out about my package and it is very good. Look forward to keeping in touch with you and seeing you at Kenyon.

lainey, howz life there? ohio is not really the dream land to be in. a teacher told me that life is going to be enclosed there now. please reassure me.

Well I have lived in Ohio my entire life and have no real complaints, but I think that Gambier will be very different from what I am used to. Gambier is SMALL and I think there is a lot of farm land and Amish in that part of Ohio, which is different from where I am from. I live in a suburban area with a drugstore on every single corner, it's pretty much overbuilt and overpopulated. So it will be quite a change for me too, but I'm not really sure what your teacher meant when she said life will be enclosed. I can assure you though that the campus is really beautiful and the little town that surrounds the campus is very nice. I'd be happy to try and answer any of your other questions about Ohio.
