Yea so i completely forgot about the EDII Agreement form and school doesn't start until the 3rd so i can't get my counsulours signature until then. Can i still apply EDII even though my agreement will be sent really late?

lol thats the funny thing.

No and Yes. Its says officially that they need it by the due date.

The funny thing is that they require those forms even late into the application decision.
Emory had me send in my form 4 days before they revealed the decision. Lol I had sent it originally but they either did not receive it or they required the counselor, parents, and applicant signature in one paper.

So since the ED2 deadline is Jan 1
I say send it in. It cant hurt to try and most likely theyll take it late. They just require the application on time.

Also the situation above happened TO A LOT OF PEOPLE…A LOT! So I think the gods are looking favorly over your shoulder lol

ok so i just talked to some ppl and they said that your counsulour can submit it online or smth. On the commonapp site it says that the school forms are submitted but idk if the edii agreement is included in that or not

i have the EXACT same problem. i think its ridiculous college counselors dont respond to email over winter break when they know a lot of students college apps are due jan 1st. i dont think emory will mind, though, that the counselors signature is 2 days late. as long as you have the your app turned in and other materials that you CAN control, you are fineeee.

Ok

This is what i did:

1)I submitted my common app with ed1 sig (my sig and my parents)
2) counselor sent in her school forms with her ed1 sig
3) Emory emails me and says that they need all three sigs on a single piece of paper/ or they didnt get it (my counselor sent it)
4) I send in the paper ed1 sig with mine, parents, and my counselors
5) Dec 15th, 2010 I get accepted :)

hope it helps :)

ok thanks jasongom, im just not going to worry about it until they mail me then hope to see you at emory next year

I love this site haha.

I’m having the same problem you guys are. From what I’ve been able to decipher from their website and friends/acquaintances, faxing in your ED II agreement form a few days after the deadline is totally acceptable. Apparently you aren’t hurt in any way by turning in your materials besides the Commonapp + supplement a few days after the strict deadline.

I mean come on, they aren’t going to penalize us for turning in a form a few days late. I guarantee that at least 100 other people are in this situation but just don’t have the drive like us to find a solution.

Peace out there’s my monologue.
