I asked the admission office and one of them told me that they will be mailing out the decision around mid-week.
I'm so nervous too.
Swarthmore is my "DREAM SCHOOL" and I do not want to get denied....

We will mail ED 2 decision letters mid week to all ED 2 applicants. We will also send email notification to international students within a day or so after mailing the letters. Thank you for writing.

better to be pessimistic..
If you are accepted, it will come as a shock and you will be ecstatic.
If waitlisted, well you were expecting it all along.

yee - sorry to hear that :\ If you don't mind me asking, where are you located? You received the letter very quickly.

I also applied early decision II, but I have not received any sort of email telling me about my application status, which is worrying me. Have all of you received emails about your application status?

Got my rejection on Wednesday... not pretty. They give you a decent paragraph about how they have to deny "many qualified applicants, like you," and that they were sad to miss the opportunity to get to know a "remarkable person."

Oddly enough this did not have the desired comforting effect.

this is looking rather discouraging so far....
does anyone know whether ED II confers an advantage to applicants, since interest is considered?

I applied RD and I feel like my chances are slim.
