Ed II struggles

Ive been totally in love with Wellesley my entire life and it’s my ED I school. However, I’m having trouble picking an ED II school if I were not to get into WC.

My stats: white, first-generation female, top 13% of class, 3.7 uw 4.2 w, 1420 sat 790 rw 630 m
I want to study international relations and take a minor or double major in history or Russian studies. I live in an urban area with a school of about 2k, class size is around 440. i have a strong ec area. have been doing lgbt activism and volunteering at a local lgbt program that gives a safe discussion place since freshman year. i also volunteer biweekly at my local library. im active in my drama club, writing club, school based gsa and am planning on helping a junior with her grassroots model un this year.

Right now, I’m at a threeway crossroads - I want to apply ED II to Tufts, GW, or Mount Holyoke. I visited MHC and GW a few weeks ago and completely fell in love. College prestige aside, Mount Holyoke would be a school I would attend in a heartbeat. However, I also was really enchanted by GW, and know about their level of prestige in IR. Lastly, I really love Tufts, and I prefer how close they are to Boston compared to WC or MHC but I also love the DC environment and accessibility to political internships.

My end goals are really to work in diplomacy abroad or pursue an international affairs related master. I’m also considering trying for Columbia’s fantatsic slavic graduate programs and other similar ones.

With commonapp opening so soon I know the final deadlines look far but they’re getting closer and I’m having a hard time really making a decision. If you have any reccommendations or even alternate colleges to consider please let
me know !!! Thanks :sparkling_heart:

One key point is surroundings -GW is an outlier here as a very urban school, it seems out of step with the other schools you like.

Truthfully I’m completely fine with both environments. I grew up in an urban environment and actually do really like them, when visiting the GW campus I really liked the city life. I don’t have environmental preference at all.
