Ed Ii

I heard that this is for people who got rejected from their original ED choice. However, can u apply ED II if u get deferred from ur ED choice? Also what highly selective schools offer ED II? Thank you.

I'd like to know this too.

For highly selective schools that offer EDII:
Emory
WUSTL
Tufts

BUMP I discovered that Swarthmore was ED II too. Answers please.

All the materials I have read say that a deferral releases you from the ED contract and you are then allowed to apply elsewhere during ED II. However, I would double check with the school just in case before signing that ED II statement of intent.

Can we reapply to the SAME COLLEGE using EDII?

BTW, a search for colleges that offer ED II returned this partial list: (BTW, I know that you asked about selective colleges, but I am not familiar with all of these schools and decided to post the list in its entirety.)

Unfortunately, you cannot apply to the same school under multiple decision plans. Every person just gets one shot atimpressing upon the adcoms why he or she would be a worthwhile addition to their school (unless he or she happens to be deferred, in which case they need not reapply.)

If you are rejected or deferred on Early Dec. 1, can you change an already submitted reg. decision application to early decision 2 by either calling the school and submitting the ED2 signature page?
