ED Kids

Hey guys,
these kinds threads have been made in the past to offer support for the ED kids. So come, support, be the honorable and quirky Haverford students we all are hoping to be.
At least it will give us something to check obsessively because we all know it's too early to be checking the mailbox...

ED hopefuls, unite!

Yay!
So I hope interest level counts for something. On Nov. 15 I called the admissions office to check if my app was complete. The woman asked my last name and I started to spell it. She stopped me and said, "I have pretty much memorized your name at this point. How are you, Halima?"
I was so embarassed! My obsessive call to the admissions office were noticed...

I'm in! I think my call level could be quantified as 'excessive', but they haven;t gotten my name. Yet. 12 days! I hope we'll all be seeing each other next year! Halima, I'm sure you'll get in. :) Nina

Oh, by 'I'm in', I meant into the idea of an ED group, not Hav...yet(?)! Just for clarification.

Does anyone know what the acceptance envelopes look like?

this may be a dumb question but are acceptance notifications (maybe unofficial ones) ever sent by email?

Good Luck Everyone! Hopefully we'll all be classmates!

You too Nina! (totally thought froghorn was a guy)
the envelopes are apparently thin, like two sheets of paper so you can't even tell by looking at it.
and there's no emailing to non-international applicants, gotta wait for your letter...

So I had a Haverford acceptance letter dream last night. I was sooo happy...until I woke up.

im a junior but am im love with haverford and so im poking my nose into such threads -- and speaking of dreams, I dreamt that I was into UChicago and Carleton (my 1 before I met Haverford) and some other ones i dont remember, but I was still waiting on Haverford... =[

omg Halima, it's killing me. I DON'T WANT TO WAIT ANYMORE!!!!! Yeah, froghorn is a play on French horn, which I play. Anyways guys, if we're all this diligent and obsessed, we deserve to be admitted, therefore let's assume we shall!

I'm sure it will all turn out for you. After all, kids all over the country are pining for their letters. It'll be cool if we all get in and are then friends!

Where do you all live?

Radionowhere, yay, join the club (not the ED club, but those who love Haverford) also, if you're already having dreams, your Sr year is gonna suck...
I live about 5 minutes away, so now whenever the blue buses that transport from BMC to H-Ford pass I give a longing look(and endanger surrounding cars).
seriously, time should go faster.

i'm from NYC. any fellow Manhattanites?

Newton, MA. Almost as bad demographically.

Yes, lstern89 (yay, another one born in 1989), it would be awesome if we could all be in and be friends. Bet it'll happen!

Yeah, we can all be in the same Customs Group!
Yeah 1989.
I'm from Wynnewood, PA. aka 4 streets from Haverford. Meaning I'm not going to get in because only 15% of the student pop. are local....great.
How about you lstern89?

Way to give us all your stats, Halima...hey! I'm local too! I live in Radnor.
I've probably run into you before and we didn't even know it. How rad!

ps you've posted 23 times on this site

what an addict

what a stalker. How'd you find that out?
(THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN) if you guys don't get in where else are you applying?
