So in my sophomore year, my gpa got trashed pretty badly because I got really terrible and hard teachers. My friend on the other hand, took the same classes and APs as me but got all the easy teachers who gave virtually no homework and extremely easy tests....... and he got a 4.0................WHILE PLAYING LEAGUE OF LEGEND FOR FOUR HOURS A DAY!! Can anyone relate to this?

yes. like you, i am aware of droves of humans smarter than myself who do so much more than me so much quicker with so much less effort.

I sit in the computer for like 6 hours a day doing nothing and right now my average is 100.38. Though next year I’m taking 4 APs and a college class so it’ll tank.

But I’ll never sacrifice computer time :D

Yeah, well, life isn’t fair, mate. Suck it up and carry on. If you’ve the mind to do well, then this won’t stop you.

@enfieldacademy I do not believe my friend is smarter than me. I’ve known him since middle school and he was a complete slacker. His grades weren’t that great either. As a matter of fact, we had two classes together and my test scores were significantly higher than his.

@PieceofToast ye, life sux sometimes. ranting about how messed up the gpa system sometimes is makes me feel better

The same thing happened to me this year /: it REALLLLLLY sucks but i know down the road i am going to be more successful with “harder” classes/teachers versus the easy way.
and that kid will probably get into a top college if he/she keeps it up and get DESTROYED by their curriculum

oh okay. i assumed maybe he was smarter…

maybe you will get the easier teachers next year? hopefully it will even out in the long-run, like it should.

Why would you want “Easy” teachers? Maybe its just me, but I like teachers that actually are a challenge and that I can learn from. Not an Easy A.
If I signed up for an AP class, I would go in there with the expectations of a hard class and a hard teacher.
Seems like you would of started working harder the moment you realized it wasn’t going to be “easy”.

This is hilarious.

Last year, I was enrolled in Enriched World History. And it was the easiest class ever.
While in regular World History, they were learning stuff I didn’t know. Since my school has the 20 minutes study hall thing, I was helping this girl in regular WH and I was like… Um… WHAT? WHY I NO LEARN THAT YET?

Oh, poor you!
Yeah I’m sure your school hired terrible teachers.
Maybe you’re just not as smart as you think you are.
