I really want to go to Boston University, but it is so expensive and I think I could get merit based scholarship money, so should I apply early decision and risk getting in and having to go with crappy financial aid and no merit based scholarship money or should I apply regular decision?

I am not sure if EDing offers priority for merit scholarships, but I assume it does not. Apply regular decision because if money is a huge factor, you need to weigh your options even if it is your dream school. If you are a competitive candidate, you should get in regardless of which round you apply. Hope this helps.
