but Tech is my number one, What do you think? Thanks!

but do you think i can get in - my concern (or my parents concern) is that if i don’t get ed, will my chances lessen for getting regular acceptance?

from what i’ve been told, my chances of getting $$ as on OOS are slim to none so it wouldn’t matter if i went binding or not - if anyone thinks otherwise, let me know.

Theoretically, applying ED will give you a small admissions “boost”. So you’re likely to have a higher chance of getting in if you apply ED and your stats are up to Virginia Tech’s standards. Look up their average GPA & SAT scores and see if yours match. If your scores are below the 25th percentile, then you’re not likely to get in regular decision anyway (unless you have some sort of hook in your app).

If they don’t accept you for ED, you’ll be deferred or rejected. If deferred, your profile won’t look any worse than if you had just submitted RD. There’s no reason to think that.

Frankly you can submit (hopefully) great first semester Senior year grades to them to boost your file.
