ED or RD for Stevens.

<p>Hey guys !! I was just wondering if I should apply to Stevens Institute of Technology Early Decision, or Regular Decision. The cost of the school will not matter as it is my dream school so just offer me my chance and what I should do. I currently have a 3.33 UW GPA and a 3.98 W GPA. I also have an SAT score of 1230 (730 math 500 reading). At the end of the first semester of senior year I will have at least a 3.45 UW and a 4.10 W. But that will be too late for ED. So should I do ED with the stats I have now. Or wait until RD with better stats. Ps. The acceptance rate for ED is around 68% while the acceptance rate for RD is about 42%. Thank you.</p>

<p>Plus I am hispanic, have decent EC, 13 honors classes, 1 AP, have already visited and done an interview, and will be applying for mechanical engineering.</p>

<p>Since it is your #1 choice, and since cost is not an issue, I would apply ED, given the acceptance percentages you state here. It would be nice to send the 4.10, but the 3.98 is very good, so I wouldn’t let that stop me from applying ED.
