I thought that all of the ivys must release results on the same day or after that date

wierd friend heard from a friend that her friend got in...
said he applied like over the summer

anyone else get a notice?

Perhaps he or she applied through Questbridge. Those students got their results back on November 30, I think.

So will the letters be sent out on the 11th then, or what?

No he didn't apply through questbridge. I dont know could just be a rumor

I'm applying for Fu, are the # of applicants data out yet? i'm just curious

That is so annoyinnnnnnnnnggggg.

I hadn't realized how much I was counting on that date until now. Ugh.

^ I know...

My only consolidation is that Columbia is still releasing decision earlier than most other ED schools. So we should be grateful that we'll get our decision like a week before other kids.

That means you either get a week to gloat over others or sulk. :D

wow this is nuts... i'm not going to be able to function till monday night

hey godofrice, i applied to FU as well. if we get in, can we be called 'fu fighters?' ...

..ok bad joke

Haha, I know -- we're better off than everybody else, but it sure doesn't feel like it!

I honestly cannot even function anymore. It's really becoming a problem.

I used to be dreading Thursday because of the likely rejection I'd be getting, but now that the date has been announced as Tuesday, I'm wishing it was Thursday instead...

look at this... i can't even get off this stupid thread now.

this is bad. even my parents are getting angry at me now

Has anyone else not been e-mailed by Columbia yet?

...Does this mean I've already been rejected? :(

I haven't been emailed either. I think they might be sending out the emails closer to Tuesday.

I can relate to that. I'm sort of disappointed that I'm not finding tomorrow. You know...except for the fact that I'm not expecting good news anyway. A girl can hope...

I don't care one way or another; the best I can hope for is a deferral.

don't say that

If I get in, I decided I will definitely express order a t-shirt.
I didn't want to get one when I went there because I didn't want to be some lame kid wandering around in a t-shirt for a school that they can't get into.
But if I get in, t-shirt time!
And what's this about an e-mail?

That's why I just got a t-shirt when I was there. I've gotten good use out of the t-shirt, and I figure that if I get in I can always splurge for a sweatshirt/other Columbia gear.

The email is just something to remind people of their PINs and possibly their passwords, because they're needed to access the decisions online.

Yeah, but if I don't get in I didn't want to be stuck with some t-shirt taunting me.
I really hope that I do though. Our school has already had one Cornell ED acceptance and one Brown ED acceptance. But that girl's daddy had a friend on the board. I'm really jealous.

Please read my old post (#5). I believe that ‘We have sent all candidates a reminder email’ was an error, and that was the reason that Columbia removed the email reference. So don’t worry if you have not received any email from Columbia.
