<p>Hey guys! I'm planning on applying ED. I've visited twice and I love it!! Penn is absolutely my number one choice. I honestly don't think my chances are that great, but I'd really love to hear some feedback from everyone, positive or negative. Thanks!! </p>

GPA: 3.9 (Unweighted)

<p>Oh and I’m also planning on applying regular decision to U Chicago, Duke, JHU, Columbia, Brown, and possibly HYP and Stanford (even though I’d never get in lol). Sorry for all the bumps!</p>

<p>you need some more confidence in yourself! you have VERY impressive stats, and the adcom at penn will see that! penn basically invented ED, so i think you’ll definitely get in early. good luck!</p>

<p>What is your class rank? Very key factor at Penn. You look to have a shot, but competition from the mid Atlantic is brutal. Higher scores and a very high rank will help a lot.</p>

<p>My rank is 6 out of 210, so not great =/
It should improve when it’s recalculated mid-year, but i guess that will be too late for ED.
Would you recommend that i submit my ACT or my SAT w/ subject tests?</p>

<p>Thanks pennboy! I just got them back on monday and I was pretty excited (mostly because Penn accepts ACT in place of SAT I and IIs so I don’t have to send in my terrible subject test lol)</p>

Oops I guess I forgot to mention these</p>

<p>Demographics:White male from southern New Jersey</p>

<p>Recs: science teacher (freshman year Honors Bio, Junior year AP Bio and Honors Anatomy & Physiology), and math teacher (junior year Hnr Precalc, senior year AP Calc)</p>

<p>I also have a rec from my instructor at Governor’s School, but I’m kinda reticent to send it because although he commended me, it seems very generic =/</p>

<p>For most people they will get it 2 weeks after the 28th but I got mine on the 28th along with my ther scores so I guess im an anomaly</p>
