I have taken a total of 2 Ap's. but i've taken them in my senior year ( I am taking them). The school had changed it's subject preference, and dropped the course my class in took in Grade 9 so thus the 11th graders this year can take more AP's than we can.

I have 2 recommendations:
1 from a bio teacher from 10th and another from english in 11th grade.

I'm going to take the SAT 2 in November in Physics and Math 2

To add to that, My GPA is around a 2.6 but I have taken challenging courses throughout my entire high school career, but they haven't been AP's, but they were challenging courses because of mainly the teachers.

Can any undergrad or anyone at all tell me, if i have a chance ?

why2k, you have no chance. Unless if you mean Indian as in Native American, your SAT scores are just too horrible.

hanzhe07, I think you can get in

What's with all these kids that have great grades and rank but crappy test scores?

OP, if you want a chance of getting in, you need to raise your SAT significantly. 2040 won't cut it.

Yeah, the SAT Verbal part is really low... but considering I am an ESL, I don't know...

I'm an Indian from India.

why2k, your scores suck; deal withit. Most kids who apply to Penn have
significantly better scores than you i.e. 2200+. (I am one) If we only
get likely's, you' not goin to get accepted. Plus EC and the fact that
you're an international student are not goin to cancel those crappy SAT I
scores. Seriously were you brain dead? Give up on Penn and go somewhere
less competitive. I'm not trying to be mean, but seriously give up!!!
