ED Penn SEAS or ED Duke SEAS? Please help......

Hey guys, I'm debating about if I should ED for Penn or ED for Duke. (Both for SEAS) Really trying to decide, so please help!

The reality is, I knew there are bunch of Chinese kids this year applying from China, and they got great SAT scores, like 2250+ or 2300+ (Not sure if SEAS or CAS or Wharton). Also because of Wharton, I suppose there are a lot of kids interested in Entrepreneurship applying for Penn SEAS.
For Duke, since my school is in the South, so I might have a little regional advantage. Also, Duke has more connections with China..

Bump…
Hey guys… I really need some advice…

Dukee seas ed

^actsat2400 Hi… Thanks for the advice… It would be great if you could maybe elaborate on the reasons and etc… Since I’m still debating…

Since it’s ED, just pick whichever school you like more. They’re both so prestigious that the reality is you won’t have much higher of a chance at one than the other

^Challengefan Thanks man. But I was wondering do I have a shot for UPenn SEAS? Is that possible for my stats/EC to get into the school?

why do you wanna go to penn? just because its an ivy?

^GingERBoats I love entrepreneurship, so I think Wharton is like a powerhouse for that. Also, Penn does have decent Robotics Program and CS Program

Apply ED to your favorite based on the culture and environment you like better. They are both phenomenal schools and have pretty much the same acceptance rate, so you chances at each about about the same.

i agree with picklechicken37 and alicejohnson. choose the one you like better, they are both excellent schools

bump…

Was in the same situation as you last year. Ended up applying to Penn SEAS ED and got in.

I’d like to echo what others said. Pick the school whose environment you like most. For me, I simply decided that I like an urban environment. Not to mention that Penn works hard and plays harder. Another important thing to consider is Wharton, however. I liked having this business powerhouse nearby in case I ever want to get something done.

Although, Duke is very similar in every sense besides the actual campus. Really is a coin toss. You might find people a little more laid-back at Duke. To summarize, at this point, it really is totally subjective. You have a very good (and equal) shot at both schools.

Try flipping a coin to decide, and at the moment the coin is in the air, you’ll know which one you’re rooting for.

^sebi95… Since I’m international, so the admission will actually be harder for me… and seems this year a lot of chinese kids are gna apply for ED Penn… so I’m just getting nervous.

bump…
