Ok quick question. Say I was to send my ED application in today. Could I get a decsion earlier than December 15? Or do all decsions go out by email/post at the same exact time on December 15 at midnight?

Also, I'm retaking the SATs in October, but don't want to wait that long to send in my app. I'm confident I will score higher, and don't want the adcom to see my current score. How can I prevent them from seeing my current score and still send my app in now?

1) For most schools, it doesn't matter when you send in the ED application, as long as it's before the deadline. Decisions get sent out either all together, or within a couple of days of each other. When you get your application in matters only to rolling admissions schools.

2) You can submit the app before you submit the scores, so taking them again in October and sending the scores then shouldn't be a problem. However, there is no way to prevent them from seeing your current scores even if you send them after the October test. All your scores from all previous tests (and from all SAT II's as well) appear on the score report, and you can't change that.
