i'm just curious, what made some of you bme majors choose that particular major? i dont particularly know much about the subject, but what classes or experiences made u apply for bme?

just wondering, i took the SATs a first time this past october and...well i scored pretty low(1900), but i've been going to review classes and i'm scoring around 2100s now on practice tests. i'm planning on retaking it in march, but will that first low score really hurt me when i apply ED next year?

i'm a junior right now, btw.

JHU looks at the top scores for each section. These scores can be from separate tests -- just don't take SAT's more than 3 times.

Remember to take 3 SAT II's!

thank you!

wait...so approximately when should we all expect our packets? and do we have to contact all the other schools in which we sent our apps already or do we just not accept the offer of admission for those other schools if we are accepted? >< i hope the packet will include some instructions =(

it does say 3-4 days for mailing...but since i live in calif. does that mean it will take longer?

I just hope that the Admissions officers didn't send me an e-mail by mistake xD. I'm praying for that package to come soon

^ lol exactly what i'm hoping won;t be happening also lol

haha it would be horrible if they sent me an acceptance email by mistake

Yeah...especially considering the time I wasted celebrating over the weekend...

That time was reserved for regular apps :) <---I threw them all out already lmao...I would have to dig through trash to do them again

Dang, that would suck if they accidentally sent an acceptance email!

Haha, jovenes, I'd have to dig out all the regular apps out of the trash bin too. What an awful thought.

I got accepted too.

Hey 03, out of curiousity how selective is pre-college at JHU? I'm considering applying for next summer, is it good?

lol...=D still saved all the other schools info and papers...just in case of above lol...but it would really be sad if wasted whole weekend for nothing...

Accepted to Biomedical Engineering
Stats on the the previous page

Congrats on that, Bramhabull! If you didn't get in to biomed engineering, would you have still gone to JHU?

Yes, I would have just because I could have done Chemical/Biomolecular Engineering which is very interesting as well

did anyone get in to the school but not BME?

I'm doing Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering...

I might do Environmental Engineering as well possibly as a minor?

I may do the accelerated MA/BA program for BME
