ED, SAT question

The God of Scheduling is apparently not in my favour-
I have to choose between the SAT and the SAT II in November because I cannot make the Oct test date because it's right in the middle of my mock exam week (which I have to send the results in to NYU later on).

My SAT : 600 CR 700 M 560 W - 1300/1860
SAT II: 600 Math II, 710 Chinese

Now I know that my SATs are not stellar and I've been told that I have a very slim chance for Stern, but my math II is horrible and I have no idea what to do.

Some have been telling me to retake my Math II and write a kick-butt essay to make up for the CR & Writing scores.

Or would I have a better chance with my score (1860) in CAS? I don't mind either Econ in Stern or CAS.

please and thank you!

CAS sounds much more realistic, unless your either #1 or #2 in your class. If not, then you probably won't get into stern, better to play it safe by applying to CAS instead...

here is what i would do
retake your SATs and apply early
retake the math SAT II in december and send them that(you can do that)
it is a lot more convenient now that u can choose which score u sent

stern is pretty sick these days. with business going down it might be less competitive this year but tat is wat i thought was gonna happen for my year and stern's acceptance dropped to about 14% this year.

if u dont break the 1400/2000 mark, i would try for CAS unless u have a sick ass rank at a prestigious high school
