ED Scholarship award is up on my.fordham.edu

If you weren't awarded a scholarship on the first round, you might want to check now because ours is up now--not bad!

i was awarded a scholarship with my admission decision, nothing turned up on the financial aid website

So fantastic!

wow! i am pleasantly surprised! i have 10,000 in merit! (:

no i mean the website doesnt have any financial or merit aid information, I already filed the FAFSA and CSS. Where on the website did you see this?

D3 came away with >$24,000 package…mostly scholarship and grants…pleased.

I tried to create an account on myfordham.edu, but it doesn’t seem to recognize my daughter’s info.
The information about the site appears to be only for students, employees, etc. I don’t see anything specifically for accepted students.

I got 27000 with loans, and 22000 without through the Dean’s Scholarship. Pretty nice, although the school was more of a safety and I don’t think I plan on going there unless I get into the honors program.

Is it necessary to fill out the FAFSA and CSS profile to be considered for solely merit aid?

One of my daughter’s merit scholarships said it was conditioned on filling out the FAFSA annually, although we do not qualify for financial aid.

lenny2 - Even though the merit scholarship is not need based, you must fill out the FAFSA annually. I’m not sure why it is required for people not eligible for need based aid, but it is. The good news is that once you fill out the form one time, it is not hard to update it with the current year’s information.
