ED to CMU, Penn or Cornell?

Hello,

My outlook into the future is to major undergrad in Electrical/Computer engineering and move on to an MBA in grad school (or do a 3/2 program like the one in Tepper).

The schools I'm really debating are CMU, Cornell and Penn and I'm not sure which one I should ED to.

Most importantly, if I do not ED to CMU, what are my chances of receiving a merit based scholarship?

Either way, what are my chances of getting in both RD/ED at CMU?

Sophomore/Junior

Total

4.40 Weighted

SAT 2250 Combined (800 Math 770 Writing 680 Reading)
SAT Math II 770
SAT Chemistry II 790

AP's:

Calculus BC - 5
English Language - 5
Spanish AP - 4
Modern European History AP - 4

EC's:

Jazz Band

Thanks!

Mogal, CMU doesn’t really give merit scholarships to anyone. The closest thing is the Carnegie Scholarship, but that is mainly based on need (with a small merit component).

If you’re not set on going to one specific school already, you probably shouldn’t be applying early decision.
