Should I apply to Cornell ED to help my admissions chances? I have taken AP Biology and U.S. History and got a 5 on both tests. My ACT score is a 33. For APs I am currently taking (for senior year) Physics, Calculus, English, and Psychology. I have taken all honors/ap classes except for one class during high school. I am very involved in extracurriculars and volunteering and I will be a tennis captain this year. I am a female and plan on applying to the Cornell School of Engineering. What do you think my chances will be with early decision or if I apply regular decision? Thank you! :)

Also, I think I’m top 7% at my high school and I have a 4.23 weighted gpa.

On SAT IIs i got a 760 on bio-e, 690 on math IIs, and 710 on US History.

You’ll have a pretty good shot early decision! You’re considerably more likely to get accepted early decision but do NOT apply if financial aid is a big concern and you need to judge offers from other schools. unless you know your parents can pay full for Cornell, you and your parents should run your financial information through Cornell’s Net price calculator to see how much financial aid you could receive (if information is accurate, then the calculator is usually very accurate).

Except for 690 in Math2 you have no holes in your app as female applying to engineering at Cornell. May be you could do something about it. Math2 has huge curve and Adcoms know about it.
