ED to WUSTL (is my gpa too low?!?!)

Hi,

I want to apply to Olin school of Business (WUSTL was my ALL TIME FAVORITE and I was for sure planning to apply till before my gpa went downhill…now im not sure if i should…)

just for my stat its 3.5 (unweighted) - failed in Junior yr due to special circumstances (My counselor will talk about this on my rec letter)
SAT 1480
(lots of extracurriculars related to Business + was involved in Student Government)
How much chance would i have for WUSTL ED ?!?! (My School has high ED acceptance rate of being 58%- except lowest stat for ED was 3.6 gpa and 3.2 gpa for RD)
What was the lowest gpa getting accepted as an ED?

Thank you! (I would want to get super critical answer! I am deciding between WASHU Olin or NYU CAS econ for ED)

Don’t put to much weight in your naviance system. It does help a decent amount to apply ED. The kid who got in with a 3.2 must’ve had a good hook and people have gotten in ED with under a 3.6. The sample size is too small on naviance. But to answer your question WUSTL ED is a reach for sure but it might be worth a shot. It is possible as people have gotten in with a lower gpa. I wouldn’t get your hopes up too high though. Write a really good essay! As for NYU, applying ED doesn’t help too much although I think you would have a much better chance here. If I were you I would apply ED to wustl and if you aren’t accepted, apply ED 2 to NYU
