ED versus RD for Wharton?

Hello all, I apologise if this question has been asked to death before, but I was just wondering whether it is wiser to apply for ED or RD given my current scenario. I'm not a legacy child, and I'm an international student.

The reason for my not wanting to apply ED is because I want to retake my SAT Subj tests in October, and I'm sending in my application by mail so I am extreeemely dubious of whether I have enough time in between preparing for SATs and the A Levels.

Hence, I would prefer to apply regular, but if I stand to gain a distinct advantage in going for early decision for Wharton, I'll work something out, or apply through the internet. What are your thoughts on ED vs RD?

Anyone? :/

Apply ED if Wharton is your top choice.

If your SATIIs are the main reason for your rejection and you indicate that you are retaking them after October (or whatever the ED SAT deadline is) then they should defer your decision to RD and base your admission on your new SAT scores.

ED holds the greatest benefit for legacies, though “average” applicants can see some boost (how much is unknown) and have an increased chance at admission.
