ED vs EA

<p>I know the difference, but will you have a lesser chance if you apply EA, rather than ED.</p>

<p>and also, ED is pretty much saying you don't need financial aid, right?</p>

<p>It depends on the school (EA vs ED chances).</p>

<p>ED is binding, so you can't compare financial aid packages.</p>

<p>ED means that you pretty much have to take whatever financial offer they give you unless you can prove that it's not enough.</p>

<p>As for a lesser chance...it depends on the school. For a lot of schools, applying ED does give you a higher chance of getting in, but the same is true for a lot of schools with EA.</p>
