<p>Hey everybody, I posted a chance thread a while back and got some pretty good feedback, so I figure'd I try again here.</p>
<p>Penn (Wharton) is pretty much my first choice for college, but I am hesitant to apply Early Decision. The real issue at hand is financial-aid; I'm just worried I wouldn't get sufficient funds or something like that and that I would be shutting myself out of maybe more money somewhere else. I am African-American, so I also heard that applying Early Decision is not so much to my advantage as it would be for other students because schools always like strong black students.</p>
<p>If I like Penn the best out of the schools I am applying to, should I apply ED or wait it out and see where I get in and what other schools are offering?</p>
