ED vs. RD chances

Hi! I'm deciding whether to apply ED or RD. Here's my [thread=958423]chance thread[/thread]. Would my slim chance drop even more if I decide to apply regular decision?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Why do you think you have a slim chance? 4.0, lots of 5s and 4s on APs, and I’m guessing at least decent Ecs and essays. You should have a fine chance. My friend got in last year with a 3.7 and a 2140, which is close to a 31 on the ACT. But your chances do increase if you apply ED.

[Duke University Admissions: Class of 2013 Profile](http://www.admissions.duke.edu/jump/applying/who_2013profile.html)

Your ACT would probably be way too low if you apply RD.

edit: this is because you are applying to Pratt. From what I gather Pratt is much more stat-centric.
edit2: haha ignore this post, didn’t see the female part. Female applying to Pratt will help.

My composite ACT is low because I bombed the reading. I got a 35 on math and a 33 on science. Does Duke ACT because I would retake it if they did?
