ED vs SAT

<p>Hey guys, </p>

<p>I really really love my top choice score but unfortunately, my SAT score falls in their 25th percentile. I have 1 more shot at the Dec 3rd SAT, however, that means that I can't make the ED Nov 15th deadline and would have to compete with all the 22,000+RDers. Which would give me a greater chance? ED or a better SAT score(hopefully 100 more points)?</p>

<p>Better SAT would give you a better chance. ED standards are typically not lower than RD, though that may vary by school. Might check if you’d be allowed to apply RD with better SAT scores if you get rejected ED with your current scores. If so, then go ahead and do ED. If not, I’d hold off and do RD. My $0.02.</p>
