ED WashU Chances

Hey this is my first thread, and I just wanted to get some feedback on my chances of getting accepted. Here are my stats:

Caucasian Male

SAT I: 790 Math 670 CR 720 Writing
SAT II 800 Math IIC 740 US 730 Chem
AP: 3 Euro 3 Lang 4 US 5 Calc BC (as a junior) 5 Chem

Took 6 AP classes junior year, and 5 first semester/6 second semester this year

All 4 years of Spanish + 2 in Middle School

EC:
4 yrs. guitar
President National Honor Society
Member of : Spanish National Honor Society (1 yr), FBLA (3 yr), Science Olympiad (1 yr)
Created local chapter of Health Occupations Students of America
Who's Who Among American High School Students
Bronze Presidents Volunteer Service Award
I have a part time job (just this year)
National Merit Semifinalist (almost absolutely sure to be a finalist)

I have placed in State Competitions for FBLA and HOSA.

By the way I live in Kansas, my father is in the militaty (stationed at the pentagon), and I have moved 8 times. I'm not sure if any of that makes a difference.

If there's anything else you need let me know.

I think you have a good chance here, even RD -- but I'm not too great at this stuff. Good luck though!

if you school is very competitive and has kids getting into washu and other top schools then i say you probably are in. if you want scholarship cash from washu then dont apply ED because i think they give more to lure kids who apply RD because the ED applicants have to attend. but yea, you have a great chance so long as the 5 kids ahead of you dont all apply to washu ED too

You have very good stats, and on paper i'd say you stand a very good chance.

But i feel the need to be a downer and report that- a kid who got a perfect ACT, and was ranked in the top five of his class, didn't get into WashU.

Mayhaps a fluke? Let's hope- a lot of my friends have their hearts set on this school- but i'd say be careful. I would recommend an interview, and make sure to be stand-outable and all-around amazing in your essays.

Cheers!
