ED Wharton Do I even have a Chance?

<p>Hi Guys! Just wondering if I even have a chance at Wharton ED. Submitted my app a few days ago :)</p>

<p>SAT: 700/750/800 CR/M/WR -2250 Total (took it twice)
Subject Tests: 770 Math II 760 US History</p>

<p>GPA: 3.7 or so upward trend 4.0 junior year.
Rank: 36/740</p>

<p>Classes - All gifted / AP classes
5- AP Calculus BC
5- Physics C Mech
5 - AP USH
5- AP Biology
3- AP WH</p>

<p>Current Schedule
AP Macro
AP Gov
AP Lang
AP Chem
Advanced Calc
Spanish 3/4</p>

<p>EC
-Internships at a Sporting Arena - Marketing intern & started a marketing newsletter that is still sent today.
- Work @ my parent's business each summer for a few weeks
- Help parents manage real-estate and stock brokerage account
- Cross Country runner - Sophmore/Junior/Senior - Varsity Senior Year
- Track Runner - Sophmore/Junior/Senior - Varsity Junior & Will be varsity senior year
- NHS / MODEL UN / NSpanishHS / National Math Honor Society </p>

<p>Essays - I think these were the strongest part of my application. Probably rate them a 8/10.</p>

<p>Ethnicity - Chinese
Location - Georgia
Gender - Male
1st Generation to Attend College</p>

<p>Recs -
Teacher 1 - Not sure because I waived my rights and did not read.
Teacher 2 - Teacher showed me and it was very well written
Counselor - Don't expect much as my school is very large and she has to help a lot of students.</p>

<p>Of course you have a chance! But, alas, you’ve already submitted. So don’t worry about it! I know, easier said than done.</p>

<p>You probably would have mentioned it, but are you being recruited?
Anyhow, from what I can see I say average-solid chances.</p>

<p>It’s all gonna come down to how good your essays are, and if you’re right about them – I would say you have a VERY good shot.</p>

<p>how long were they for? how many hours in the day did you work?
were you involved in original work/discovering something/ pioneering?</p>
