<p>My first clear cut choice is MIT. Nevertheless, considering I'm an intl, I can't apply EA. Two other schools I'm interested in are Macalester and UPenn, though both have binding ED,the chances for getting in are much higher through the process. So what should I do, should I play it relatively "safe" and apply for one of those ED? Or wait regularly for MIT?</p>
<p>Hm.. how are your chances? If you think you'll need the boost from ED, I would play it safe. If you're a fairly competitive applicant for MIT, Mac, and UPenn then wait regularly.</p>
