<p>Do a lot of people get flat out rejected from Brown during ED or are the majority just deffered?</p>

<p>according to my deferral letter, the majority of ED applicants are being deferred.</p>
<p>Of the six kids that applied ED this year from my S's high school, 1 was accepted (my son. :)), and 5 were deferred. I think most are deferred. And none were accepted after the RD round.</p>
<p>a great majority are defered early decision.. This benefits the school . It allows the school to put kids on hold and see what they get in reg admission</p>
