I think its the same for ED1 and ED 2 , don't exactly know the acceptance rates but there is no true difference between ed 1 and ed 2.

I guess there must have been some!!! whoever knows plz post here

hmm...well we are applying...maybe the MHC students know that...the problem is very few ppl are posting here in MHC thread n i guess, only mtholyoke2010 is around to guide us thru MHC...any ideas, mtholyoke2010?

mtholyoke2010 plz help!

There's no difference, really. There is a difference between the acceptance rate of EDI/EDII applicants to those accepted RD, though. A lot more people (almost 70%) are accepted ED, whereas a LOT less are accepted RD.

When you apply ED, MHC knows this is your first choice, so they have a preference for you because of this. EDII is set up for those "last-minute" applicants who really want to go to MHC, but decide that they might get a better aid package elsewhere, and for that reason they decide to put it off. In the end of it all, the EDII applicants still apply early, though.

There is not always a difference in the percentage of acceptance between ED and RD at Mt. Holyoke.

My daughter is in the class of 2009 at MHC. She appled EDII in 2005 and that year for both ED and RD approx. 54% were accepted. The transfer acceptance rate was 47%.

how can we know the acceptance rate? Is it posted in the website?

Here is the link to the class of 2010s acceptance rate info for MHC-

thank you crewmom

thanks for the replies
