<p>I’m applying to Tufts ED too, but I’m also from CT so I’m pretty worried about all the applicants coming from here</p>
<p>You’re probably at more of an advantage applying from out of state. So many kids from MA apply that I’m sure they’re looking for out of state applicants to mix it up. </p>
<p>So on US News and World Report, it says that Tufts had a 35% ED acceptance rate last year? Do you think i can trust this statistic? </p>

<p>@marilo12 At the Info Session I went to over Spring Break this year, the speaker said last year’s ED acceptance rate was 49%, but can someone confirm that I’m not hideously delusional? Because I’ve also heard 35% from other sources…</p>
<p>@matcie I’m from CT also! What county are you from because I know each county has its own designated admissions officer so one person isn’t reading all CT apps? </p>

We’re all hoping for Friday, but, based on prior years’ dates, it seems most likely that we’ll find out on Monday</p>

<p>@Imnopkrs I was under the impression that ED acceptance rates were around the same as regular decision (about 18%) and that the 35% statistic was referring to the fact that they get about 35% of the incoming class from early decision applicants.</p>
<p>@hermionedance Welcome! It’s VERY unlikely we’ll hear back tomorrow. I’d guess 20% chance of Friday and 80% chance we’ll hear on Monday. I hope I’m wrong though!</p>
