I sent an email to my local admissions rep, and he basically said that even admissions wasn’t sure yet when they were releasing decisions, although they’re out of committee now. He said that they had a “lot of work to do” before releasing, which makes me think it’s going to be Monday. Tuesday at the latest if something last minute goes wrong.

In the email, she said “I believe Admissions is trying to get them out before the 15th.”
But this was from someone in the financial aid office, so I’m not sure how reliable it is.

From one ED applicant to another, I wish everyone the best of luck! Remember that you are all awesome and that this acceptance letter (hopefully not rejection letter) does not define you!

I’m so nervous to find out. I don’t know if I can wait until Monday! Is anyone else scrutinizing/regretting all of your high school career also? If you don’t get in ED to Tufts, where else are you applying/already accepted? I’ve already gotten accepted at Bard which is a school I’d be happy at (not as happy as I would be at tufts though) but I’ll probably apply to some super reach schools just for kicks.

Fingers crossed for decisions today…

My college counsellor asked me today when I was getting the results, and I had to say that I didn’t know, which got me a VERY piteous look from her…
@negativelyinf wow that’s great for Bard, you’re lucky to have a fallback! If I don’t get into Tufts I’m applying to Vassar ED2, JHU, Colgate, Haverford, BC and Trinity! I hope I won’t have to apply to them though, I haven’t even started the supplemental essays

@dacookiemonster I am also applying to BC and Trinity if I don’t get into Tufts! They’re both great schools but not as amazing as Tufts

@conservativearts agreed! I would definitely prefer meeting you at Tufts than at BC or Trinity!

So what major have you guys all applied for?

I applied for the School of Arts and Sciences with a major in biochemistry and a minor in Chinese!

@dacookiemonster agreed! Does anyone think there’s still a chance we’ll get decisions today or is that completely out considering how late it already is?

I think there still is a chance time-wise because Harvard released at like 5 yesterday and Duke at 7. However, because Tufts said decisions would be released BY the 16th, I feel like we are more likely going to find out on the 15th.

I applied to the School of Arts & Sciences for an intended major in Community Health on the premed track!

I applied to Arts & Sciences for an intended major in International Relations and a second major/minor in Economics or History

I called the admissions office today and they said early next week. We get an entire weekend more to stress.

I applied to Arts and Sciences intended major of biology looking to do premed as well! And oh well hopefully it’ll be Monday rather than Tuesday

I applied to Arts and Science as a cognitive and brain sciences major. I really hope we all hear soon for the sake of our sanity!

I applied to the school of arts and sciences for biochemistry or some other major, maybe Econ. I want them to release the decisions nowww. This is so painful.

I applied to the School of Arts and Sciences with a major in Biology on the pre-med track and a major/minor in Music!

School of Arts and Sciences as a Clinical Psychology major and minor in Latino Studies. 2nd major/minor in Women’s/Gender Studies
