I'm a high school senior and I applied ED1 to Stern at NYU. I've visited NYU and done all things possible to show my immense interest in the school. Based on what I've researched, I feel pretty confident about getting in....but at the same time, I don't think I should feel confident because my credentials are not ivy league worthy but not too shabby for schools like NYU. Sooo....I really need the opinion just to give me some mental preparation for that god-awful admission response. Here are my credentials:

GPA: weighted=4.54
HS doesn't provide rank
ACT: 31

Grades: progressively improved over my 4 years. have only gotten As and Bs. Straight A's junior year. and so far, straight A's senior 1st quarter. Currently taking 2 AP classes. Stocked up on classes, I may not be a natural genius, but I'm definitely not a slacker.

Extracurricular Activities: exceeded the limit on Common App (not sure if that means much). Briefly: piano for 12 yrs, violin for 10, orchestra all 4 yrs, part-time job, 3 clubs, teach piano, sports every HS year (volleyball-1 yr, golf-2 yr-captain senior yr, water polo-2 yrs)

College Recs: awesome. College essays: should be awesome...

what else.....don't want to be tedious or anything but chance me from this. Thank you!
