Decisions are up on December 15th! Be excited!

I’ll be on to tell my results with ED1

me too. only 14 days to wait, assuming we get the results right on the 15th.

Does anyone know if we’ll get some sort of letter, or if we’ll have to read it online first, which is less fun.

It will be online on the 15th. If you are accepted they send you follow up stuff in the mail. It was all explained in the letter confirming your ED1 application. Did you get one?

Stats:

2020 SAT 710M 690CR 620W
30 ACT

4’s on AP World, English Lang
3 on USH
5 on Bio

~91 weighted average, most rigorous curriculum
97 average first quarter of senior year.

3 Varsity sports, spoke to football coach at Hamilton, i’ll be playing if i go there. interview went well. Also have shown intense interest at the school. I use Burke library all the time, and I’ve been to classes there etc.

Anything else, ask. And i’ll post the decision on the 15th

i’m so incredibly nervous. my mom won’t let me check until i get home from school, and i just know i won’t be able to focus at all that day; i’ll be so freaked out about my results. a part of me just wants to know right now, and another part of me never wants to find out simply for fear of rejection. does that sound crazy? ack!

I’m so so so nervous as well! I’m not going to school on the 15th at all hahah.
Anyone know if they’ll throw a bone and send any likely letters?

Good luck! :)

I’m nervous too! I’ve heard that Hamilton sends likely letters, but don’t quote me.

Mathemagician - how do you like the school library? It was the only thing about the school that didn’t beat every other school I’d ever been too.

Good luck everyone!

I asked students during my overnight what they thought of the library. They told me that in terms of studying, it’s a cozy place to be, but there’s about 654 million places to study on campus other then the library, so it’s not too popular of a place.
To me, it’s just so ugly! Oh well.

BTW, what other schools are you guys applying to?

the library has a mac lab and a pc lab, and three stories of books, a rare book room. the rare book room includes 49 or 48 incunabuli, which surpasses many colleges. there are better places to study around campus though. try the study rooms by the elevators in the science center overlooking the athletic complex. perfect.

im also applying to Le Moyne, already accepted, Presidential Scholarship. Le Moyne is the backup if i can’t afford Hamilton. I like Le Moyne enough to go there, but i absolutely love Hamilton.

13 days and counting…god i’ve never realized that my heart had a capacity to beat this fast! But honestly, I’ve given up hope for Hamilton. I’m already preparing for ED II. I think my chances of gettin accepted are a gazillion to one.

Anyway, good luck to all of you guys! Hope everyone in this thread gets accepted!
Cheers!

They accept ~28% RD, and 50% of ED applicants. so you have a pretty good shot!

^You and I have similar SAT scores. Mine is 610r 710m 700w! Total of 2020!

11 days until the 15th!

10 days!! i’m so nervous…

i wonder how many international ED applicants there are. i’m sending in a 2100 SAT (680 CR, 740 M, 680 W). didn’t take the ACT, i take IB Diploma in place of AP with a predicted grade of 39, 4.28 weighted GPA first quarter.

chances exponentially reduced because i need financial aid.

I thought Hamilton is need-blind. Wrong? I thought last year they did away with merit aid and 1) guarantee to meet full demonstrated need and 2) admit without reference to financial aid needs.

Your ED 1 app will not be affected by your financial aid application because, to answer my own question, Hamilton is need-blind for domestic applicants. So good luck!

this is crazy… why can’t the result come sooner? I see many schools release around 10.
