So the date of decisions is approaching quickly... Is anybody else as nervous as I am?!?! AHHH!!!

Yes, I am so on edge. It’s all i think about.

Do you know when we’ll be notified? I know it says “By December 18”, so that means we could find out any time before, right? I know the deadline for submission was extended because of the Common App issues, but if people submitted WAY before the deadline, any chance we’d find out sooner?

I’m freakin too. I’ve heard they never release on weekends, so i’m thinking maybe the 13th or 16th 17th or 18th. Good luck everyone!

I’m in the same spot! GAHH, I feel like I’m in Limbo waiting for the result!

I was thinkin we’d hear back on the 13th as well (because of all other ED/EA schools are releasing their decisions “by the 15th” and since they don’t release on weekends, I would guess that the day would be the 13th) but then again on the Tufts website it says “BY December 18.” I really hope decisions don’t come out during the week :(

Ahh now I don’t know, last year they found out thursday I think… I guess we’ll just have to wait to find out!

Waiting is so hard is so hard though! My mind kicks itself every second lol

can’t wait!! i think about it every 3 seconds. literally. :/

ugh me too. hopefully this week we will finally know!

Do you think we’ll know this week for sure? I know a lot of other schools are finding out this week… ahhh i can’t take another week of this anxiety!!

I find that watching Arrested Development usually takes my mind off stuff like that. I could recommend some stuff to watch on Netflix if you’re looking for a way to distract yourself.

Stuff I’m digging at the moment: Louie, the League, Orange is the New Black, Archer, and old episodes of the Japanese Iron Chef.

Orange is the New Black is pretty good!
Prison Break is my favorite though :)

Hi fellow ED’ers! Every time I get an email, I think that it’s Tufts telling me that my admissions decision is available. It’s surreal to think that in a week we’ll know the answer. Best of luck to everyone!

well, i really hope we don’t have to suffer another weekend! not sure if i handle any more anxiety! and i know other schools are releasing ED/EA decisions this Thursday~Friday, so let’s hope Tufts does it as well! I really CANNOT wait any longer!!!

I know! I wish we knew a little beforehand it makes the waiting even worse! Just trying to keep focus on school and stuff, but it’s hard haha

I’ve stalked the Tufts CC threads for a few months now, so I finally decided to make an account. Anyways, I really hope we get to hear on Friday. I don’t like the idea of waiting until the 18th! I’ll be checking the Tufts Admissions Blog every few hour for updates.

On one hand I can wait and on another I can’t … I’m really afraid of what my decision may be since honestly it would only take a miracle for me to get in. Plus, if I get my first letter from a college on Friday, which is the 13th ( ooooh spooooky), and it’s a rejection letter… I’ll forever believe in superstitions :O

X-Post from the Ask an Admissions Officer thread…

When decisions are released, here is what will happen.

You’ll get an email letting you know decisions are available, and that email will also contain the link to where you’ll go to find your decision. The email goes out to all of you at the same time, and you can’t check your decision until the email goes out. There’s no reason to log into TAMS to check until then. Hitting refresh in your inbox is a good deal more effective than hitting refresh in TAMS (or on our blogs).

I, of course, understand how badly you want to know your decision, and I know how stressful waiting can be. Trust us to take the time we need to do our work thoughtfully, and to be the best possible stewards of your applications.

Good luck internet friends!

Ahh! I’m actually really hoping for either tomorrow or Friday. Don’t think I can take another weekend of this anxiety!! But if it happens, what can ya do, right?

Thank you Dan!
