Can you suggest a few good places where I can give ED1.My preferred major is Biomedical Engineering. And I can afford to pay $6000 at max.So that university must meet my 100% demonstrated need.I have an SAT score of Maths-800,Critical reading-650,Writing-700. I would like to apply to colleges that would surely accept me with a good aid,not very interested to aim to the ivies or other BIG schools .Thanks in advance
 .Thanks in advance
Do not apply ED. You need to be able to compare financial aid packages. Apply Early Action, or Regular Decision, or Rolling Admission.
Some of the places on this list do award scholarships to International Students. Check each website carefully:

There’s no such thing.
In other words, you are looking for a full tuition, room and board scholarship? $6k about covers incidentals like airfare, health insurance, textbooks and personal expenses.
Yes
Thankyou @happymomof1
But @happymomof1,I thought applying in ED,would increase the chance of getting into a good university.
After spending time on researching I have managed to narrow down my list.It includes:
1.Case Western Reserve University
2.Lafayette College
3.Lehigh University
4.Bucknell University
Among this all, which would provide more aid,can u suggest one?
Warsye, yes it does but you have a huge disadvantage; you cannot compare FA package and you cannot bail out of contract.
A student can back out of an ED agreement if the student thinks that the financial aid is not good enough.
If you are applying to an institution (need-blind or need-aware) that claims to meet 100% of your demonstrated need, go ahead and apply ED. As @happymomof1 said, a student can always back out of an ED agreement showing financial need.
If the place says that it will meet 100% of your demonstrated need, you need to remember that they will give you as much as they think you need. This might be a lot different from how much you think you need.
So, before you apply anywhere, find out how much your parents can pay each year. That way when you get an aid offer you will know if it is good enough, you will be able to quickly decide to accept or reject the offer.
