What is the acceptance rate and stats for ED2?
@msm9833 I have never seen Wake break out their numbers by ED1 and ED2. (If anyone else has, please comment.) The most recent published numbers I’ve found for Wake ED overall would be what was released in their Common Data Set (CDS) numbers for Class of '21. (My son is Class of '22, now a first year - and I have not seen those numbers published.) I have included a link to the full CDS report for Class of '21 if you want to see test scores etc - but in summary - for Class of '21, the ED Acceptance rate was 44% and ED made up 60% of the enrolled freshman Class of '21. Class of 2021 / Entering Fall 2017:
Total Applications: 13,071
-ED: 1,842
-RD: 11,229
Total Admitted: 3,604 (28% admitted… 3,604 of 13,071)
-ED Admitted: 815 (44%… 815 of 1,842)
-RD Admitted: 2,789 (25%… 2,789 of 11,229)
Freshman Enrollment – Class of ‘21: 1,349
-ED: 815* (60% of freshman class… 815 of 1,349)
-RD: 534* (40% of freshman class… 534 of 1,349)
(*Note: The ED / RD enrollment breakdown is not directly shared in the CDS numbers; rather, it is calculated with the assumption that all 815 admitted ED actually enrolled, leaving the remainder of the freshman class as RD (1349 - 815 = 534. Assuming a handful of ED’s didn’t enroll, the number of RD’s in freshman class would rise slightly.)
