ED2 anyone?

apparently there were more ED2 applicants than ever before. any EDers on CC?

I am! And I’m freaking out about whether or not I get in. In a few days, we’ll all know our fates. Ahhhh… the wait is unbearable

@mfl08642 I couldn’t agree more. Supposedly letters are being sent on Wednesday. Good luck to you both!

I’m terrified!!! Do you think acceptance ED2 envelops will have the purple thumbs up on them that ED1 had?

YES! This week is taking too long :/

I am an International EDII applicant. So, will I receive my decision in mail or in email or through the portal?? I converted my RD later to EDII…please post ur decisions onceyou get them…thanks!!

@suzygreenberg I have no idea, but I would assume so. Either way, you’ll most likely know based on the size of the envelope!
@sickrate International students are supposed be notified via email.

so haven’t anyone of u heard yet?? its Feb 1 already …and i have been refreshing my inbox time and again

I didn’t hear that there were more EDII applicants than ever before! Now I’m really really scared because “more applicants than ever” screwed me over for my EDI school. Crossing my fingers that I’ll get my letter soon (no matter what it says).
Good luck everyone!

oh, and @sickrate: can you post here once you get your decision? They probably send emails the same day they put letters in the mail.

Kenyon only sends email notification to international students. I know someone who was accepted ED1 and was notified the next day via snail mail, and they live pretty far from Ohio. So, there’s a possibility that some of us will find out tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

I live in Ohio, so I hope mine comes in tomorrow! crosses fingers

Good luck to everyone!

can we get deferred for ED2?

My friend was informed that it will either Friday or Monday…not today…

I think we can still get deferred, but I’m not sure. Personally, I’d rather get either an acceptance or a rejection, rather than getting deferred or waitlisted, though!

Sickrate, is that for everyone or just internationals. They told my counselor last week they would be mailed wednesday but I guess they could be running late. Good luck!!

Knock on wood from what I said earlier… I was deferred :/

I got a letter about a financial aid verification statement. But I didn’t get notified that I got accepted or denied?

Accepted from Massachusetts
If anyone wants my stats I’ll post them.

My daughter applied RD. Would love to see your stats.
Karen

Accepted from Virginia! If you want the stats I could post them…but they’ll be pretty underwhelming haha
