ED2 Bucknell, Villanova, Providence

What are my chances of EDII to Bucknell?
My other top choices are Villanova and Providence however I got deferred from both.
I plan to major in accounting and I am also interested in finance and mathematics. I know that Bucknell has a very competitive School of Management so what are my chances of getting in ED2 vs regular decision?

This is a little about me:
I am a white female from New Jersey and I graduate from high school in the spring of 2016.
My school does not have a 4.0 gpa scale so it is 93.44/100 weighted. My school does not rank either.
My SAT scores are 530 for critical reading and 570 for math and writing.
My composite ACT score is 24.

I have not taken any AP classes however I plan on graduating with 2 college level courses.
I will have taken 3 years of science, history, and spanish, 4 years of english, p.e., and math, and 3 business courses. I have mostly received As in all of my courses.
I have made honor roll (90-94 average) every quarter and I am in the National Honor Society. This past quarter I made the Principal’s List (95-99 average).

My extracurricular activities include:
-orchestra (9)
-jv tennis (10)
-varsity tennis (11-12)
-religious education teacher (9-12)
-tennis coach
-multiple volunteer services
-member of SADD (9-12)

Also if you go or know anyone who goes to Bucknell, VIllanova, Providence, Loyola University Maryland, Bryant, Bentley, TCNJ, or Quinnipiac, I would love to hear about them!
Thank you!

If you got deferred from Providence, you don’t have any chance at Bucknell. The typical Bucknell student has a 30 ACT, Providence around 25ish.

You should get in Rowan, but TCNJ you are low in the bottom 25%.

Scranton might be an idea, as would Manhattan College, Susquehanna, St. Bonaventure, Siena College, Sacred Heart, St. Michael’s, Nazareth, etc.

for TCNJ business school it’s very competitive for finance and accounting majors

I also applied to Providence and Villanova for accounting as a major! I got accepted into providence but I got deffered from Villanova as well, which was a bummer since Villanova is my first choice. Did you send your test scores to providence? I didn’t send mine (25 ACT & 1700 SAT) because I knew they weren’t that high. Maybe that’s why you got deffered from there?! My stats are really similar to yours except my GPA is a little higher but our test score are about the same. Good luck on Villanova though!!

Providence maybe you’ll get in at RD but I’m sorry Bucknell and Villanova are major reaches with your scores. As for some of the schools you wanted information on I have a cousin who is a senior at Villanova and he absolutely loves it there. Campus is nice and he said he’s met all types of people there so you can always find someone you relate to. He loves his teachers and talks about how easy it is to get help if you need it. Also despite the reputation you might hear (villanofun) that’s not the case as there’s always something interesting going on either on campus or stuff to do off campus nearby. I’ve got friends at providence who love their school. They rave about the spirit the school has especially with sports (specifically Hockey and Basketball). As for Loyola Maryland I have a friend who went there and she liked the small class sizes and the campus. I have visited myself and it’s beautiful definitely a sort of laid back vibe. Anyway good luck and I hope you prove me wrong and get into either Bucknell or Villanova cause they’re amazing places! Best of luck to you!
